Lawrence is a 33-year-old teacher with a passion for theatre and the arts. At school, university and beyond he has been involved in acting and writing in English and foreign languages. Over the last few years, he has dedicated more of his time to writing with the hope of putting more of his work into the public sphere. He has had history articles published in “Medals News” and “Journal of Orders and Medals Society of America”, sketches performed by comedian Greg Winders on his Liskeard radio show “Barmy Nonsense”, a short play performed by SlamMinutes at the Pleasance Theatre in London, and reached the second round of the 2022 Papatango New Writing Prize with his play “After the Goldrush.” Lawrence hopes to see this play performed and is currently developing it into a TV series.
